General Conditions
Reserving one of our packages implies acceptance of all of the following conditions

Reservation and Payment
Reservations can be made online, by letter or by fax with a non-refundable deposit $100.00 per person payable to ChinaTravelHub.com.

The balance of the tour payment is due for 4 weeks prior to the departure date. If this balance is not paid in time the company reserves the right to treat the client's booking as cancelled.

When a reservation is made within 4 weeks prior to departure date, full payment should be made upon confirmation of the reservation.

Cancellations and cancellation fees
Cancellations are very costly and usually do not occur in time for resale of the canceled tour. If cancellation in writing is received by ChinaTravelHub.com more than15 days prior to commencement of services, the non-refundable deposit will be retained. For cancellations received within 14 days of commencement of services, the following cancellation fees apply:

14-1 days prior to commencement of services:
50% of total price
On departure day or later:
100% of total price

*Cancellation charges also apply to additional accommodations reserved prior to and after the tour.

Revision
No handling fee will be charged for any alteration or revision made 2 weeks prior to commencement of services. A change of tour date or tour itinerary within 2 weeks of commencement of services will be treated as a cancellation and new booking; regular cancellation fees apply.

Unused Services
There will be no refunds for unused services. All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by ChinaTravelHub.com. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey regardless of the portions of the package unused.

No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents such as passport or visas.

If We Change You Booking
In preparing your travel package we believe that it is our responsibility to provide the product we promised. But circumstances out of our control may occur. We reserve the right to change itineraries or cancel any tour prior to its departure for any reason. In the event of cancellation, ChinaTravelHub.com will refund any deposits and/ or payments prior to such cancellation.

Tour Price
The land price covers expenses incurred in China for transportation, sightseeing, accommodation at hotels specified or comparable hotels, meals as mentioned, tour guide service, and handling of one piece of luggage weighing no more than 20 k.g.s (44 lbs). No responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to baggage or any of the passengers' belongings. Baggage insurance is recommended.

Not Included In the Tour Price
International flights; airport taxes and fees; passports; visas and vaccinations; tips to your tour director, drivers, and in some cases, local city guides; gratuities on ferries and cruise ships; laundry, meals not on the itinerary (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); optional excursions; all other items of a personal nature.

Inclusions
Our services include only those travel services that are specifically described therein. All other details on our website are provided for your information only and should not be construed as being included in the price of your holiday.

Group Size (apply to small group packages only)
Our groups have a maximum size of 16 people and we guarantee our departures as long as we have 2 participants on any tour.

Documents
You are responsible for obtaining the documents required by government authorities. Traveler who do not have the required documents can be refused by the carrier and/or authorities in the country visited, in which case the traveler will not be entitled a refund of the price of the trip. ChinaTravelHub.com assumes no responsibility in this regard.

Problem Handling
If you have any complaints during the tour, please inform your local guide or our specified local representative or the suppliers immediately so that we may promptly rectify the matter. Any further complaint must be put in writing to the company within 30 days.

Health
While most of our itineraries are not physically demanding, you should still be in excellent physical and mental condition to participate. You should read the itineraries carefully, if you have any doubts, please contact us.

Due to the extreme altitude, we recommend that those who are planning to travel to Tibet consult with their doctor before departure, especially those with high blood pressure or heart conditions. In case of early departure from Tibet due to altitude sickness, there will be no refund for unused services. We therefore strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance for all travelers planning to visit Tibet.

Travel Insurance
Domestic travel insurance (Maximum Payout of RMB240, 000) is included in you package tour price. You should buy your own travel insurances as well.

Special Needs Passengers
Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to ChinaTravelHub.com at the time the reservation is made. We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled tour participants, but it is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so, nor is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Services required for passengers with special needs are not included in the package price and may not be available.

Acceptance of Risk
The client acknowledges that the nature of some tours is adventurous and that such holidays may involve a significant amount of personal risk. The Client hereby assumes all such risk and does hereby release the Company from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages or injures or death resulting from these inherent risks.

Responsibilities
You booking for these vacations involves an agreement between you and those who provide the service. The tour operator does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, resort, cruise ship, restaurant or other supplier of services and is not responsible for their acts or omissions.

ChinaTravelHub.com acts as an agent for transport companies, hotels and other contractors and shall not be held liable for any injury, damage. Loss, delay or irregularity that may occur, including, but limited to, any defect and in a vehicle or any other form of conveying a traveler, acts of God, detention, delays or expenses arising from quarantine, strike, theft, civil disturbance, government restriction or regulation, accident by aircraft, boat, bicycle, motor vehicle or any other form of transport or in any hotel or guest house, pension, or other form of accommodation. The information contained in this website is correct to the best knowledge, but the organizers reserve the right to alter any itinerary or service at anytime without penalty to the organizer. Any additional expense or cancellation shall be borne by the customer; any resulting saving will be refunded by the Company to tour participants. The organizer reserves the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any customer at the discretion of the organizer.

Payment of deposit is taken as acknowledgement and agreement of the above items.
Tour prices are subject to change. ChinaTravelHub.com reserves the right to adjust the listed price at any time for any reason. However, we will not adjust prices once the tour has been confirmed and deposit has been received.

Participants should strictly abide by the laws and regulations promulgated by the governments of the countries visited, including but not limited to Immigration and Customs Laws and Regulations. ChinaTravelHub.com will not be responsible for any and all penalties due to any regulations of the governments of the countries visited.

Participant is not allowed to change the confirmed itinerary, including transportation, hotel, meal and sightseeing. Any extra charge or loss incurred due to such change will be borne by the participant.

No refund shall be given for any portions of the package unused by the participant of his own accord.

No person, other than an authorized representative of the Company by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this website, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.
