In
ancient times, water flew from Shang Tian Zhu
through Ling Yin to the West Lake. Because the
sand in it was glowing like gold, it was called
the Golden Creek. Later the area was developed
and during the reign of emperor Guangxu of the
Qing dynasty, a villa was built which had a very
attractive atmosphere.
The
Hangzhou Jinxi Hotel has recently undergone renovations
and has welcomed the restauration of the Yang
Gong Causeway. Located on the Causeway, the Hangzhou
Jnxi Hotel is the only high standard hotel which
is completely surrounded by water. The gardens
and scenery are mutually attractive and reflect
the tranquility of the South China home.
